MSAC accomplishes its mission through partnerships with residents, business owners and operators, public officials, private sector professionals and community leaders. Currently, Main Street Atlantic City is actively engaged in a number of initiatives aimed at revitalizing the downtown district.

• The development of a comprehensive, community-based Visioning and Downtown Revitalization Plan that will provide a blueprint for the future of MSAC Downtown District.
  
  
• A Downtown Housing Initiative focusing on the creation of  mixed-income housing in the downtown district.
  
  
• Downtown events such as Atlantic City Arts, Books, & Culture Festival in the summer and Santa Stroll in December.
  
  
• Streetscaping improvements, including new planters, banners and pocket parks.
  
  
• Business Development Initiatives to help grow and develop locally owned businesses, including visual merchandising and crime prevention workshops.
